So 3 months ago, I was just a regular kid struggling to make 2 cents a say with his blog. I was bored and was browsing through BHW when I came across this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/joint-ventures/406158-my-money-your-idea-50-50-split-looking-long-term-jv-only.html

Being the desperate kid I was, I pm'd the OP, not even expecting a response. But luckily, he liked my idea and we agreed and started a hip hop forum, which lead to this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/413993-starting-forum-hip-hop-niche-any-bh-tricks.html (Btw, thank for the help guys.)

At first I struggled, didn't know what to do, and how to get people to join and stay active on my site, but my partner good advice and hard work kept me going, after a month or so, our site had over 100 active members and was on google first page for 'hip hop forum' and 'hip hop forums'.
If you're curious and want to know what the site it, just google 'hip hop forum', we're #1 baby!

Now let's fast forward to 2 months later, did I mention I was 16 years old? If i did, you'll realize that it's hard to for a 16 year old to keep up the good work in school and run one of the fastest growing hip hop community on the web at the same time, so I contacted the co-owner of the site (xenix9) and we decided we're going to sell the forum for about $1000.

So we listed the forum on Flippa, and little that we know, the forum was worth much more than that. We started to get a lot of bids and private offers, and we sold the thing for $2200.

And thats my story guys! A little lesson here, even though you must have heard this phrase over a million times, I'll tell you again, NEVER GIVE UP!

P.s, if anyone is interested in investing in a project (forum, blog, etc), PM me and I'll be willing to start another JV.

Peace

Wow.. Good work.. Maybe you shouldve held on to it if it was getting really popular. You could've made more money with advertising....

Thanks and like I said, I was pretty busy with school and didn't knew it was worth that much until it was sold....lol

Flipping site has become a trend now-a-days. Create a blog with hot niche, post some quality original articles, build some quality backlinks, send some traffic and sell it in on Flippa for profit. That's it.

i doubt you can make 2k though off flipping blogs though.

Nice man , good job , I also started at 16 years old and made in 3 months 5k $ , so yeah anything is possible you just need to take action .

Well done mate:) great work.
You just need your next project now:)

Well done.

But like Tim Ferris said; Cash flow over Big Pay day!

Grow the sites and keep em :)

$10/per day here x 10 sites soon ads up to $100 per day. Either way well done.

Congrats OP, this is really inspiring. Are you still interested in a JV if so PM me, thanks!

I see that ur flippa account was suspended due to some reason, Just i check it. another thing is that do not share the site name as the niche can become competitive, I know you have sold the site but it is your duty to have security from whom you have earned so much money

I am interested in the forum and blog part. PM me.

That's cool for a 16 year old teenager like you OP! Anyways. I will spend time reading the threads you referred in this thread of yours. Anyway, keep encouraging people. You'll never know you can change their lives with a single "NEVER GIVE UP! phrase. :)
