Hi guys,

As title says, my close friend got 150k viewers on his art Youtube video, is there any chance to get some bucks of this video or the 150k views is too low for that? We dont know about any ways or methods to get paid some money on this, anyone knows more about this to help me understand what can be done?

Thanks!

In most cases 150k views is enough to enable you to apply for monetization.
Whether your content is monetizable through the YPP is another story.

If it's not, there is many other ways to do this like affiliate marketing, CPA, promoting your own products, and so on...
I'm sure you can find countless ideas by looking around on the forum.

(Btw, this should be in the YouTube subforum.)

There are a million different ways to monetize, but the problem that stands out to me immediately is: will the video get another 150k views?
People have already seen it and won't come back right?

Anyways, here are some ways to monetize youtube views in the future:
- Monetize through YouTube (possible, if the account has 1k subscribers and 4k watch time)
- promote a product (affiliate marketing/CPA)
- promote your own product (could be a course, if it's art?)
- set up a paypal or patreon for 'tips'
- etc..
or turn the video into an nft lol

Yes, he said that peoples have seen it and won't come back likely because its not so popular anymore.
