15000 Youtube subscribers, will I have to complete the 4000 watch time again?

In 2009, I uploaded songs to YouTube, now the channel has 15000 subscribers, and 2 years ago Monetize Mail also came, but I did not pay attention. And now I want to make a web development tutorial on it and upload it, can I remove the songs from there now. And now after uploading the tutorial, will I have to complete the 4000 watch time again?
Please any one expert can guide to me.

If you delete videos from your channel, your watch time from those videos will go away. In that case, again you need to take care for 4k watch hours.

If i edit the song and upload tutorial?

Although I'm not 100% sure, you might be able to overcome this by unlisting the videos. Theoretically, the videos are still there and are accessible using the URL; however, they're not in your channel.

I might be wrong. So, it'd be nicer if another member could also share some insights as well.

On some songs i receive copy right claim too.

As long as your content visibility is set to PUBLIC, you can do any tweaks (you can edit audio and edit clips) to your existing content. Your existing watch hours will be intact, no need to worry about it. And you can upload web development tutorials also.

It won't ask you for additional 4k watch hours if you have already achieved it in the last 12 months, irrespective of the content. So check your watch hours in the YT studio. Within 12 months if you have 4k hrs and 1k subs then you can apply for YPP.

This is understandable. Wait for sometime and let them expire
