Hey guys, I'm a freshmen in college and decided that working my life away by doing work for others was not a good way to live. My dream is to travel around the world, meet different people and "hang out" with all kinds of woman from around the world and I just can't do that with a regular job. So I decided that the concept of making money online was a great idea. The concept that money makes money. Working this job is not an option when I have a dream of traveling around the world. To do this, I calculated that I need to make around $150 a day. I have browsed the forum for about a week and found out about internet marketing around the same time.
I decided that I will be using CB products to make some cash. At this point I have still not decided whether to make an authority site or a one page landing site. To be honest, I still have not done keyword research. I am making this journal so I can keep tabs on my progress and so that the new guys joining know where to start. Hence, the title, $150 a Day From SCRATCH.
I have a $50 gift card to start off with but will be investing more money into the project after I buy new tires. I will also keep tabs on how much I spend and how much I make. I will be uploading this thread daily. ANY help will be appreciated also.
THE START OF A JOURNEY:
Setting Shop
I just registered my $50 gift card and plan on using the money for the following things:
Before I can begin on the checklist, I will do some keyword research for the next couple of days. I guess the tools I'll be using is the keyword tool to find out about search volume and market samurai for keyword finding. I will check up on that a little more. I thought I found a keyword earlier today but the competition was pretty big so I decided against it. There was like 2 million searches on the topic. The toughest part is going to be finding a keyword that matches the CB product and the website. It's going to be fun looking for that keyword.
But this post was just to set everything up, I will be posting what I accomplished tomorrow, on what will be the OFFICIAL DAY 1 of this journey.
Treasury: $50

-Buying a domain name with 2 keywords in the title ~ $13
-Buying a host, in this case HG ~ $8
-The rest of the money will go into buying a decent website theme on fiv ~ $25-$29
That is what I plan on spending the first $50 dollars on. If I can not find any decent web themes for that low of a price, I will just make a landing page for a single product. If I can, then, I will be making an authority site.-Buying a host, in this case HG ~ $8
