I was watching the show Dragons Den on CBC Mondays at 8pm, and for those who haven't seen it, it's a show that showcases potential investments for a panel of smart, rich and verbose people.

The owner of the billion dollar Boston Pizza company being one of them.

So these 2 guys walked out and presented the panel with a cardboard screenshot, on a stand. and promoted.....

A local news website based in London, Ontario Canada.

These guys wanted to sell this website and the "idea" of making more than one in other towns, only small towns. And when told these ideas already exist, and that local news is not hard to find, He went off on the corruption and the mass controled media. Lost is mind, and they zoomed in on his crazy death stare.

oh btw, he was fired from a local newspaper!

Obviously interested I went too; www.londontopic.ca.

Ugly script without social bookmarking. Old school, so old I wondered if the show I was watching was an old repeat.

They wanted 150 grand to expand. If memory serves me correctly 150 grand for 20% of their company is a one way ticket to la la land.

Here's the best part. His total profit over 2 years, was 30 grand.

They ripped him apart, as i am hoping you will now..

I already emailed them, and told them what was up. if you could email them, would you say?

You might be able to find the clip on youtube, I havent looked.

I love that show, havent seen it in a while. $30,000 profit in two years? Thats surprisingly good lol :p looking at the site. I figured they would lose moneys

yeh love the show to. i watch the uk version over here.. some cracking deals there but also some right dead horses haha

ive only seen the uk version, didnt know there was a usa version

Is there a USA version? I think the one kayzne is referring to is Canadian. I used to watch the show but stopped because I could not stand the Kevin O'Leary guy. He tells the entrepreneurs not to get too greedy but he's the greediest SOB.
