$15,000 spent and only 20 sales. PLEASE HELP!

I am a new direct to consumer e-commerce business. I made a custom supplement and the product and packaging really is incredible.

I spent $15,000 and only got 20 sales, about $1,000 in sales. I only need about a 1x ROAS. My creative is good, landing page conversion rate is amazing so the website is good, also CTR is good. I think the main issue is that the CPM is around $250. CPM stays high no matter what I do. I have created many campaigns to test different angles.

What do you suggest I should try next?

It feels like I am stuck in the learning phase and can't get out. I am scared if this keeps stating like this I may need to close my business which I worked on for over a year to get here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
spending too much in start is wasting your money, how can you say your creative is good until you don't even properly text it, $15000 is a big amount and with market less 4x ROAS you can generate $60,000. TRy to implement this:
- If you just strated test atleast 5 - 8 creatives, video ads, image ads, & carousel ads. All should be tested properly with no targetting or targeting only seed interest. This is how you can say "Good Creative" from one of them.
- after this do testing of audiences too, wait what audience testing? "YES"
Here is how you can do that, the creative which bring good CPM, good CTR or Multiple Sales should be used with 10 type of different audiences. Audience research is important thing try to create personas this will help you alot.

Once you have both things on the table, let me know I will tell you how to scale campaign and make 4x in one month!

I don't believe the OP has spent anything and maybe it's some sales hook or something because I have never heard of someone with money making such decisions, but maybe that's someone who "got money by an accident" and a rare event. Anyways, that message sounds like an exception to me and people reading that post should know that if you know how to get $15k to spend on ads, you rather know what you're doing as having that type of money to spend usually means you already know something about money.

If you can't control money, that's best to ask a professional for help. Consult a doctor cause it's perhaps a mental health thing rather than skill related. Tell them explicitly "I spent $15k on something I didn't understand and I thought it's going to work". They'll teach you how to plan it better, so you don't do something like that next time without validation.

Don't buy any agency services. Guys who posted in this thread are just businessmen trying to sell you their services. You don't even know if they're real and honest, and if it isn't just fake persona they've created to "impress people". Consult someone face to face and start with a counselor cause you're on the verge of bankruptcy if anything you said is true. But I really doubt it and it looks like some advertising of agency sellers and might be just gaming the forum.
Damn the biggest yapper of BHW got banned?

"Product and packaging are incredible"
"My creativity is good"

These are assumptions, and they are quite possibly wrong.

"Good" shouldn't mean that YOU like it. It should mean that your product has market fit, and that your creatives sell your product. Right now neither statement is true.

Remember, design is subjective. It doesn't matter if you think it looks nice, it matters that It sells - and that the product is good so people buy again/word-of-mouth.

You should be split-testing WIDELY different creatives— Low quality user-generated content usually works too, as people has a corporate bias towards high production creatives.

Quite often it's not the polished creative ads that get good ROAS.

Apart from this. Your landing pages, website and audience should be dialed in too, of course.

Did you spend it in 1 day? Because it doesn't make sense, why did you spend 15k without having a nice performance?

why not advertise here on BHW, there are people from everywhere, if forum members start liking your product than it will be worth it

15K for paid traffic is crazy!
Can we take a look at the website/product?
I wonder what's so wrong to make this fail!
You had (still have) the chance to put your product on ClickBank and let people advertise it

Try advertising your product more. Have a wide audience and make it more catchy.

That is too much money you spent. You should probably stop at spending $1k to $2k. You should try promoting using other methods.

Try testing other ad platforms like Google or TikTok, refine your audience targeting and consider retargeting or influencer partnerships to lower your CPM and boost sales.

I suggest two things, if you are doing whitehat, then try cheaper keywords... If you want to do blackhat then basically two things have helped my clients to take their competition website down + wasting their ads money through a CTR automation.

That’s tough! Maybe try adjusting your targeting or testing different ad angles to improve sales from that spend.
