I use Ebay to sell collectibles. I had at one time 3 Accounts and one account was suspended for life for a couple of negative feedbacks from trolls and now the 2nd or my oldest account has been suspended for life. I only have one account left linked to my wife and that account has been a limited account now for over a year with Ebay and Paypal. Apparently I could have saved myself some trouble knowing about how to deal with multiple accounts and setting up paypal to look like the accounts are not from the same person which I guess creates the issue I am in because they are linked and then considered high risk.

So now, what do I do? My last account only has about 50 items left that I can sell things for the year before I hit the tax threshold so I need another account and is a Stealth Account Really my only option. I could open an account using one of my children's or perhaps one of my brothers could help... but I prefer to not want to bring them into this mess. I have almost 7000 transactions completed on Ebay after 14 years and I need to be able to sell these items here unless there is an alternative to Ebay catching on that I don't know about.

What do people have for advice if you would please.

    Jason

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the feebay. I also was a powerseller on the bay and was doing very well for about eight years with only two accounts. Both shut down after some time because buyers will leave neg feedback and the seller will loose everything at all cost. I'm currently doing business on (u bid & some lower quality items on blujay.) For multi accounts you can check here for that. Look under money making and site flipping section. Also there is a ton of post about how to set accounts with different user names. It takes some effort, and it can be done with the bay and the pal. Hope this helps and good luck!

I'm in a similar situation, down to one account that turns 13 years old next month with 100% feedback. I lost my wife's last year and feel like I'm walking on eggshells, it seems like a lottery. I wouldn't consider bringing your children or family into that if I were you.
I have been looking for other avenues but haven't been successful yet.

1 Ebay no longer cares to do business.
2 Unless you are going to stop selling, then it's best to make a call to PayPal first, and get the right person (manager) on the phone and tell her the truth/situation. You would be surprised, but I have done this more than once with them over various things, and they can resolve things pretty well if you handle it politely.

PayPal doesn't have a problem with you having more than one account, but they DO mind you having 2 accounts tied to the same name/SSN or name/FEIN.

I would suggest being proactive, and getting another business account established, so in the event you lose another account then your not left in a jam.

In Ebay/Paypal's defense, they are constantly dealing with newer and smarter crooks, and their "security model" has improved significantly over where it was 3 years ago.
Ebay itself however I believe is so heavily focused on risk management that they're squeezing the life they have left. I understand that has been a stable to your sales, so again I encourage you to get in line with them the best you can. Good Luck

I had the same problem as well, I was selling on ebay for a few years with great feedback, then just had a few negative ones and ebay kicked me out. I've tried everything to get them to let me back in, but they're not looking to help anyone it seems.

    Good Luck.

It is the way to go.

Can you elaborate a little more about Stealth Accounts. I tried to PM you but since I'm new, I need 15 posts to PM I guess. I thought there was no way to register for paypal or Ebay anonymously....

You have a ton to learn as many here have eluted to the fact they use stealth accounts once ebay screws them over on their real accounts and do it successfully.

I have purchased 15 stealth accounts and they are solid as a rock and well made. They are all making money for me.

Many accounts get taken down because the person who made them has no clue how to make them or the buyer of the account get stupid and list some fake crap and gets it banned.

I have an order in for 5 more new accounts as I am doing fantastic with them and want to keep them going. Recently just got some really nice limit increases for doing well with them, shipping fast, item as described etc and look forward to getting more going for the Christmas selling season.

Same here, but it was PP that screwed my 10 year old account for no valid reason. BUT just like you DougG79, I started using stealth. I knew how to make them before but once that ban hammer hit I took off. Having a real account making $50 to $100 a day was nice but having 10 that make $25 to $50 a day is better. Plus when I get negative feedback I have tricks to leave that account alone from REAL sellers for a month and use the other accounts to make money. So negative feedback barely hurts when you have 10+ stealth accounts. It is more work but it's so much better than getting a real job for peanuts. lol

I think stealth is the way to go. I would hate to spend so much time building something up just for it to be for nothing.

cant pm yet where do i go to learn about ebay stealth, i f'ed up i have 7 accounts and iam close to being banned im verified on 1, linked on 2, 1 is dormant from 2004 never used and other 3 are under my dads account so i have 7 accounts to the same house hold, ebay questioned me on this i gave them 5 ssn. and told them. this is a house that gets foreigners on their feet after they got green card wentand thru the process and became a us citizen, i am showing them the way to make money and use a computer and ebay went for it. and told them a bunch of other liberal BS & ebay went for it, and that was a year ago now i got 30 items per month on the 1 , 70 on the other, the dorment 1(never used), 2 are top rated and the other 1 is a top rated power seller. i need ebay stealth NOWPM if you got any info.

With stealth accounts, do you have to have private proxies and linked stealth paypal accounts as well? How does that all work? How do you pay yourself when your Paypal's aren't linked to your bank and such? Just curious as I know there is money in Ebay and I'd like to try things out.

eBay banned me before too and it was caused by my competition flagging me. Selling their has become such a bad situation
that the only way to do it is with fake info, but that is not easy and can lead to banning if you dont know what you
    are doing.

OMG. Thats what happened to me! I'm demoralized. I wasn't a power seller but I was really legit and then it happened. I'll search the forums for stealth accounts info.

Update: My last "real account" was limited from selling yesterday. LMAO

I had 1 person who USPS stated "no address found" and returned the item. That guy was a dick and gave me negative feedback. The next month I my funds were held up to 21 days on all sales and set to sub standard on EB account. Then 9 days into this month I had 22 sales already, I gave $45 away to keep the jerks at bay when thier item showed up 2 days late because of USPS (confirmed by tracking system). Still I didn't get enough people of the 22 sales leave feedback, like 8 out of 22 even though I have several auto emails sent out to BEG for feedback. Then after 8 years with almost perfect feedback score on a REAL account they only allow me to buy. WOW.

Luckily I make 2 or 3 accounts a month (stealth) and I have stealth accounts a few month old with LESS THAN 20 feedback that have 250 items / $25,000 selling limits, instant funds available. It's like they love new blood but the longer you are with them the faster they kick you to the curb. I do NOT sell VERO, or fakes or any shady stuff... they hate even the normal people. So if they take down 1 a month make sure to make 2 or 3. It can take a few months to get each account rocking good.. so always build.

When they do this to my stealth accounts they NEVER get their EB fees from me... treating people like shit will catch up to them.

Wow good to hear, I used to do the same exact thing with the Ebay Fee's if they ever decide to suspend my account. I WILL NEVER pay ebay there 10% commision if they decide to suspend that account. Sometimes when I do this I save about $250-$350
