I always get asked this question...

Can I use English (PBN) backlinks for non-English money site?

Well, I guess you can...

Details for those interested:

Website hadnicely "pillowed", branded anchor text profile when they came to us.

There was almost no keyword rich anchor and site was not ranking at all so it was time to hit it

20 English PBN links where drip feed over the past 40 days.

These are premium, auction units, backed up by clean link profile of 120 referring domains each on average.

We used branded and naked URL anchors as well but mixed in a few keyword rich ones.

The reason we used safe anchor even for PBN links is that total number of links was low, around 70. So 20 new targeted anchors all of a sudden seemed dangerous to me.

All that was needed was power really, relevancy was taken care of by strong on-page for the most part.

NOTE: As you can see traffic is very high, although, keyword is not as competitive as some traffic alternatives in English language would be (not even close)

I use non-english pbns to push my English site rankings, you can get some really nice domains if you look for foreign tlds.

There are plenty of case studies where 10-30% were country related backlinks and the rest global backlinks. There is not much difference in terms of SEO, not just PBN, more than that, on tier 2-3 countries where Google does not invest so much in AI, people rank even with low-quality backlinks as 10 years ago, it just takes longer to have an impact.

Yes, but many people don't venture there for real and just wonder how it could be. Out of fear probably.

Of course it does. A good nyt/bbc link will give authority to a website no matter the language.

a) Written In English language and linking back to the website with foreign anchors?

All ranked keywords are on the homepage.

There are some pages of supporting content on Blog section to increase relevancy but nothing special.

These are links from my rental service. Overage it's around $8 / m a link.

Or did you mean the cost of building the network?

Well, each unit domain is around $250 + hosting + content. x20

Units in this case study are all English. Everything was and is English.

However, in case of foreign language units, yes, I would transform the language. It's just easier to work with.

Not many. They are all purely English for the most part.

That's the point of this case study.

1st a) is not possible. There are no English anchors available.

3rd a) would made this case study obsolete
