Hello BHW,

Do you think $120.00 per sale is to low for affiliates?
or it normal, above average, or below average ?

i'd be very happy with $120... but i guess it all depends on how hard it is to convert someone.
 
conversion rate is about 1-2 sales in a 100 clicks

is that considered a good or bad conversion rate ?

its good because one of the best on the web is cams.com they pay $130.00 per $30 signup so does Adult friend finder, all these are owned by Streamray.

That is fine affigold . Commision is usually based off of the sell of a product . A high end product will give more commision.

I have products I promote that are really cheap that only give me a few dollars but it converts like mad . However I have high end products that do not convert as well but it makes up for it because the commision is greater .

can you tell me what is considered a high conversion rate vs a low conversion rate

for example is 1 sale per 100 clicks good conversion rate or poor conversion rate

is there a scale ?

The reason I was asking I was thinking about raising it to $180.

Well, I've never heard of a 10-year cookie, that's all. Although, I have heard of "lifetime" so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

$120 is pretty good then.

I was worried that it was not enough and instead of raising the commissions right now I will give them Thanksgiving bonuses.
