11 year old domain

I have an 11 year old domain (ictg.com) and I would like to install a social application, I am not sure if i should do a social bookmarking site like phpdugg or a social network. I have tried a few different packages:

Elgg which is free software
Boonex dolphin but was not too impressed
PHPfox did not like the interface
Social Engine was okish
phpizabi not too impressed

Does anyone have some good experience and could recommend a good package or combination thereof, i need something where i can easily add widgets and is multilingual

Just tried phpfox and social engine and didn't like them both.. there was another one which I forgot the name which I was REALLY impressed with but I didn't 2 gigs of ram to run it.. (was using shared host at the time)
