1000-10,000 traffic with 1000 RDs

I don't get it. Some website I pay backlink for have 1000 RDs but they only have like 1000-10,000 organic traffic. I dont understand shouldnt the traffic be higher? I have a site with like 63 RDS and I have 2.4k organic traffic the same traffic I have with these websites. I dont understand, moving forward I'm anxious if my website will yield the same result and get so little traffic for so many RDs.

well it depends on the quality of links we build to the website

RDs have nothing to do with traffic. The amount of keywords and in what positions you rank for them determine traffic.

I know but think about it, RDs are backlinks. How can a 62 RD website have more traffic than 1000+ RD website doesnt make sense at all. Should be bullet proof organic traffic

It depends mostly on many factors:

Quality of backinks
Market competition for ranking keywords
Search volume is one thing but you should also check trending data for those keywords
No of keywords ranking in top 5

Or else they are manipulating the traffic, serp clicks etc.... maybe to sell links.
