hi guys, meanwhile i have over 100 visitors a day, but no one clicks on my ads :-(
i placed a text-links 468x15 on the top, under my main blog image
one 300x250 on the top left corner of each post and one 200x90 text-links in the sidebar.

    100 visitors isn't a lot so I'm not surprised.

Are the ads colour co-ordinated to match with your site?

I personally don't like text links as they have to click on them twice...

Integrating ads amongst your text can also work.

From my experience 468x60 and 200x90 don't work well, try different sizes and test different placements to see what works best for your site.

Keep testing, testing and testing. But 100 visitors per day really not much. So don't expect too much until you have more traffic. Good luck!

I'd be surprised if I saw a click from just 100 visitors especially from an autoblog. I try to avoid banners if I can since surfers have suffered from "banner blindness" for years. My CTR is always higher with text ads and especially linked text within a post.

Why would someone have to click a text link twice?

yes, when somebody clicks a text link, it takes them to a page with all the relevant adverts for that link, and only if they click again do you get paid

i personally never use text links. they suck!

you get ad units and link units - ad units are the normal ones:

    make shitloads of money online
    yeah, make lots and lots
    and lots of money

    www.somecrap.com

    link units just say:

    make money online

ad units pay you as soon as somebody clicks - links take you to another page and you have to click again. will somebody with link units on their site show this dude? i cnat think of a site that has em

Why not link directly to a sponsor? I do 75-100 sales a week every week and most of those sales come from text links. There's no landing page, nothing to click twice. If what you're talking about is a method some cpc sponsors use I wouldn't use them.

Oh those, sure. I wasn't aware anyone actually tries those ads. Maybe if you have very, very high quality traffic people might click through. I was talking about a standard text link coded by hand, not some copy and paste ad code provided by google.

The OP didn't say he was using adsense either. I personally don't touch adsense. I can't make more than $5 a day with it EVER. It's not worth my time. There is much more money to be made without it.

If you're using adsense, 100 visits/day will get you nothing. I had 20,000 visits a day and I made $25 a day average, and the same again from infolinks text ads (pay per click). The only way I know to get money from low traffic is to use affiliates and make sure you're traffic is targetted.

Try to make sure that the people who find your site were already looking for "norton 360 3.0 coupon" or something. This vastly increases the chance that they'll buy through your ad.

Target your traffic using ******** anchor text links. As long as your site is keyworded correctly, your niche isn't saturated, and you build several hundred ******** PR1 or greater links, google will sit up, take notice, and start to send you people who are already looking for what you sell.

    100 Visits per day
If you are using wordpress use adsense plugins to insert it into your posts and integrate it

How about 1500 unique visitor everyday with 10,000 and more page view. That's what my blog get after ran it for 6 month with only 60 articles. But with only a few clicks in a week!! I started to think ,more and more people start to recognize adsense ads and see them as bad signs or something. Or may be the articles are too useful, people don't click ads.

Also try not to leave them anywhere else to click to escape your page. If they have to choose between an add or back they might pick the add a little more often.

agree, as everybody said, 100 users per day with adsense means nothing. even if the site is full of ads and they are well positioned on page, with right colors...it's not easy to get money but a few cents.

Try to look at your keywords and see which one is driving the most traffic, put up advertisements for that niche. Adsense/text advertising may not be the best option, CPA works well for a low traffic site I own when I put niche related ads on.

You need a lot of visitors to get clicks, 100 impressions is really nothing, build up you traffic more and you'll find that you'll get more clicks :p Traffic = money.
