If you want $100 for Face Book ads I'll give you the codes for $15 via paypal. If interested PM for details. Hurry, one of the codes expires soon.

PS: Don't worry, It's easy to spend the cash before it runs out and half the money is good until sometime in '09

Here's a screen shot after I used the codes on my account:

Is anyone converting with Facebook? As the_demon points out, it is easy to spend the money but converting them seems to be quite difficult.

What your looking at is click through ratings, not conversion ratios. Also, these were just some "play" ads I did with my money. I wasn't spending anytime optimizing them... I was just using my "play" money to see which offers reacted best. Also I switched up ads all the time so the above stats aren't 100% accurate as to the number of clicks I got. I did get at least as many as you see though.

How well the ads perform and convert is up to you... For example, if your an affiliate for site5 you can make $100+ / sale. Meaning all you need is one of those clicks to make about 6x the money back that you payed me in pure profit. Remember I'm providing you with the $100 it's your job to find the right affiliate program and write good ads.

Also, if your an affiliate with neverblue (formerly never blue ads) they have thousands of different offers...

For example you can make $18+/sale on a credit report service. NB also shows network performance so you already know which ads convert the best across the whole network.

Well hope this info clears up your questions and skepticism.

Well I will wait until some people do business with him before I test it out! Seems like a good offer though. But with 10 posts and no reviews I won't be Guinea Pig! :)

To clarify, I am not questioning your service or anything like that. I am just saying that I have spoke to many other people running many programs on Facebook and they haven't come close to converting anything like they do on other PPC programs. Clearly if you are going to give it a try, $100 free is a good place to start.

To be honest I don't think that $100 facebook ads is equal $15. Way lower. I had $250 from coupons before and honestly facebook ads suck. High impressions with low clicks. It's pretty horrible.

If you look around theres alot of people complaining about how bad facebook ads are. I would NEVER put real money into it unless i know 100% I am going to get sales.

Yes, I know many people 'say' Facebook ads suck. Keep in mind though that's because many lack experience and are advertising crap offers and also don't write proffesional ads. This is why it's good to set small budgets and play with ad variations before going all out.

    Let's think about things seriously...

Q: How does Facebook make money?
    A: Ads

Q: Have you ever seen a lack of ads?
    A: No.

What does this mean. It means they are working and working well for the people who use them 'properly'. Part of the reasons why my CTR was low in the above is because I was going for high impressions. I really didn't put any targeting on the ads in the screenshot above. If your like most people who use Face Book users you'll notice how relevant these ads are to you. That means that when you are driving the right ads to the right people you will make money.

The reason why you see so many complainers is where your looking. Your probably looking at blogs, forums, etc. Where excuse the term 'no-name' marketers are making complaints. Have you ever heard a Big agency complain. NO! or at least I have yet to. That's because they practice and know what their doing.

Now this does NOT mean you can't succede. Not one bit. In fact it means you have all the better ods If you put your mind to it. It's the little guys who are the innovators not the huge corporations who take 20 years to change.

Basically what I'm saying is ignore all the hype. It's like when those MLM guys tell you you can make your first million in month one??? You can it's just not likely. Spending $100 in FB ads and making a return isn't all that hard. Like I said above all you need to make your $15 back is ONE stinking sale... I'm not promising millions of course there's allways that potential down the line. I'm giving you a realistic trade.

Seriously you saw in the screen shot above... Over 500,000 impressions. Now if your telling me that you can't make one super easy sale with 1/2 a million people looking at your ad, well then........

Just think when it comes to Google adsense. Some people are spending what $0.30/click , $ 0.50 / click, I've seen over $10.00/click in some cases! (I'm serious!) Now even with the several hundred clicks I got your still getting a lot more bang for your buck than you would with just about any other ad program.

Even at a small price of $0.10/click your still getting more traffic then would from Google. In fact at $0.10/click your saving 5 bucks by using my codes and getting a lot more exposure to top things off.

well there's my notes. Hope this helps my fellow affiliate marketers wake up and take the game into their own hands.

As for the one fellow who didn't trust me. I understand how you feel and yours and others skepticism because of my low post count. I just hope that as I progress here in BHW maybe I'll make you feel more comfortable around me. We're all here to make a profit in one way or another so I have no intentions of ripping any body off. The more people who are happy with me means more reviews, and more sales for me... So it's to my advantage to be honest here and in business in general.

I believe there's a saying that goes like this:

1 happy customer means he tells 1 friend... 1 angry customer he tells 10 friends

Trust me, I'm happy growing by one happy client after another than losing 10x the business.

~ Hope I straitened things out. :) and whether you decide to purchase or not, good luck to all, with your marketing ventures.

Are there any resources for properly optimizing a Facebook ad?

They kept rejecting my ad for a weight loss tea and I couldn't figure out why.

If anyone is seriously interested in this, just do some searching on BHW as you can get a $100 coupon for free in about 2 minutes - I did.

If you don't want to search, then pay the $15 - do not PM me!

This is true, However if you want multiple accounts you will need VCCs that is why this is a good deal.

we should start a new thread devoted to facebook, as I don't think the discussion will help this seller's cause ;)

He has a point though, in that using the 'usual' offers on FB likely won't convert. You need to understand the mindset of the user (emotional teen looking to socialize) before you consider your ad copy or for that matter the type of offer you wish to advertise.

Different from every search engine (content networks aside), ads on facebook annoy users and are not really targeted by interest and instead demographic. This leads to much lower CTR and in general less interest in the offer. This doesn't mean it's a dead duck for our purposes, but the approach needs to be different.

    Nevermind...

demon no offense but I did not realize you where selling coupons. That is kinda bogus as they are free to make accounts and the coupon is free.

I am not sure if this is the same thing. If it is. I would suggest you want actual accounts visit the other guys thread.

I am not trying to be a dick here. BTW.

THANKSGIVING DAY SALE: codes now $10

sorry, haven't checked this thread in a while as I told inqueries to be PM'ed.

... The codes will work on an unlimited amount of accouts as long as you create new FB accouts and use different Credit crad #'s when registering. They charege $1.01 just to verify it's a legit card but refund it back in a few days.

    ex)

    10 Credit cards
    10 FB accounts
    = $1000 in free ads

If your ads keep getting rejected read the reason. You should use:
    - normal capitalization (first of each sentence or special words such as holidays)
    - no spelling errors
    - make mention of the target website
    - refer to legitamite sites,etc.

Actually read their TOS & rules and you should have no problem getting approved. My disapproved ad was just for a 1 letter spelling mistake, I just didn't bother to fix it and wanted to spend my money on the other ads.

If your still interested send me a PM do not post here.
