I've been a lurker and decided to make the jump, been reading for years without taking the plunge. The stuff about collecting emails sounds like a must from my understanding, provide them value and they'll be warm for appropriate and related offers.

That's because 95% of people that actually make money online don't waste their time making these superficial "journey" threads. They wake up every morning learning, working, managing or plotting.

95% of the people that make these journey threads are superficial dopamine seeking noobs that won't follow through with real work and noob out back to the McDonald's employment line.
