As the title says. Brand new eCommerce store. So far no SEO. What would you spend it on :)
I want this to be very legit business, so no spammy stuff

Oops i put this in the wrong category, but anyways ..bump

send me a pm with your url and some keyword you want to rank for , i might do some seo for you if its not much work to do for 100 $

no thanks, looking for what people would do for a diverse start to link building. Any new services that are doing wonders at the moment?

I would start to work with product pages and buy some tiered link service to them.

Save that 100. If it is a legit biz do it the old fashion way. I am in the mid of opening an ecom store too, and just by buying the domain with keyword in it with ccTLD, i.e. .co.uk, .com.au .hk ... I am able to rank in top 20 within 1 wk of reg. Just place ur link to local popular forums and write short articles will do the tricks. Blast linking might make ur site reach up fast, but it is more for those quick money making affiliates marketing.

I was thinking this also, i have never really built links to products, only to home page and category pages. It makes sense to link to the products though.

Content content content, then backlink homepage and categories.... in my opinion with a strong overall link profile product pages handle themselves pretty well!

If your supplier offers a description, scrap it! Re-write it, make it 100% and keep adding more valuable content to the site.

When you start getting some sales through start looking at conversion ratios for different types of traffic, keywords, pages and focus on improving it!

When you first start out its easier to double the conversion rate than doubling the organic traffic on a budget that small!

You need that per month really....
