Folks
It seems to me that the model works something like this?:
1) Do market and keyword research.
2) Select niche and topic area
3) Create your blog and gradually add articles/web2.0 content over time (these could be done manually or by using automation).
4) Track website, tweak content and website usability as you go along.
5) Subsequently, building up back links, allowing user generated content to "value add" to the blog, maybe setting up a forum etc can follow.
Now, some questions are:
a) How many articles/web2.0 postings would you folks think would be adequate in creating a starting critical mass of articles? (some numbers that have floated around are about at least 20 articles, each being added to the blog every about 1 to 7 days until you have all 20 articles added)
b) Let's say you've added 6 or 8 articles and they still aren't bringing good traffic after ..oh, say 6 weeks. Then what ?:
i) Should you try and find more keywords?
ii) Should you re-tweak your SEO for the existing articles?
iii) Should you continue to add articles anyways, until you hit 20? And if you still aren't getting good results, then what?
iv) Should you consider using other means of marketing the website online (e.g. using myspac3, fa3ebook, Craig sl ist, and others).
v) What other options could be used and most importantly, what are the deciding factors that would lead you to choose a particular action to improve the situation?

I'm a noob and certainly not a pro.
I guess some of these questions help me and maybe other folks answer the question:
Now that I've built it, if things aren't working out, then what do I do?
There are so many possible actions that can be taken when things don't work out,
but noobs like me could be barking up the wrong alley and spending effort, which could
be directed elsewhere?
Please do share your thoughts and experience.
Thank you.
Cheerio
P.S. Or could the real secret be in the keyword research? (a question I raised elsewhere but now one's talking about it

)
Do keyword research right and you WILL get your results eventually? If this is the case,
what is the right way to do such keyword research?
