Hey guys! Back with a new journey and this one is gonna make some caaaaash! You guys might have seen me around, I'm a bit of a veteran here with posts all the way back to 2008. My first major success was creating a viral facebook app that made me 30k in three days (I was 16 or 17 at the time), or my snapchat post where I was clearing 300 a day. Those methods were great, but unfortunately like a lot of blackhat stuff, they didn't last.

During that time and now, I have been focusing my efforts on affiliate products and building a list. This journey marks my first jump into the health niche! I have a great foundation for this project and I wanted to keep track of my progress here. Follow along and lets make some cake!

    My setup:

-BingAds: Currently targeting about 500 keywords in my niche. Set my max bid to $0.07 CPC and will go up if I need to. I always like to start low, gauge the results, and see what I can afford. This prevents me from blowing a huge advertising budget up front. Daily budget until I get a sale will be $5, then I will double the budget and go from there.

-GetResponse: My favorite list building suite. They've done some great things with forms, landing pages, and a new feature that allows your mails to send out at the time the subscriber is most likely going to check their email. I pay $40 a month for unlimited hosted landing pages, and 2500 subs (I have about 1300 now altogether in my other niches which will be excluded from this journey).

-ClickBank: Tried and true. For a while I though CB was shit until I started using email marketing. Why didn't I use this years ago!? I currently make about $200 recurring per month on mainly SEO offers. Those will be excluded from the conversation here as well. This is my first time in the health niche and I am excited about it. Gravity on my offer is between 5 and 30 (suggested by another post in the CB section - if you search "gravity" you should be able to find it. The post is called "picking the perfect clickbank product to promote" or something like that). The offer pays out 75% on around $40, with a OTO recurring subscription that supposedly converts more than 50 percent. We shall see. There is also a downsell $1 trial offer. Like the funnel and the sales pitch is aggressive. My style!

My funnel includes a lead magnet (ebook) in exchange for email and name and redirects to the offer. My autoresponder then sends 5 emails in the course of two weeks to try to convert the person a few more times.

    Day 1 Results:

    Clicks: 4
    Impressions: 1,028
    Spent: $0.25
    Opt ins: 1

Summary: This is literally over the course of a few hours. I am happy because it is late here and these are good signs early on. I expect to spend the entire 5 dollar budget tomorrow. Let's see how it goes!

Notes: I should probably install prosper202 or whatever it's called in order to track my clicks further and get some insight on whats converting good. With this budget though, I'm not to worried about it. Let's hope to get some conversions soon! As soon as I see the opt in rate is high I will go ahead and crank up my spending a bit. I expect to be spending $20 a day within a week and be getting a conversion every day at that point.

    Thanks for following!!

Major success today! Had my first sale!! :) I had a feeling this was going to be a hot setup and it looks like I was right. So lets go ahead and diver into the stats!

    Day 2 Results:

    Clicks: 38
    Impressions: 7,308
    Spent: $2.12
    Opt ins: 9
Sales: YES! ~28$ from one sale

Notes: Going to go ahead and bump up my max CPC bid to $0.10 and see if I can get my whole budget spent tomorrow. If I can continue to get at least a 100% ROI I'm going to dump tons of cash into this campaign. Stoked!

That's all today. Check back tomorrow and hopefully I'll have another sale in! Still need to gather more data before I go ahead and crank up the spending and whatnot. Also going to play around with some more ads and see I can get a higher CTR. Going to spend tomorrow installing Prosper and get some more analytics.

It really feels good to make a sale so early on. It means I've either gotten really lucky or more likely that I have a great funnel that is only going to make me more money.

That is very good ROI but don't too big on the budget per day because the same customers that see the product already will click the same ads again which is wasted clicks money down the toilet.
So gradually increase the budget per day and monitor what is going on.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!!

I'm currently bidding on both content and search. I manually set all bids originally to .07 but now went up to .10 as I didn't get the whole $5 budget spent.

Thanks for the advice!! I Will gradually move my buds and spending up. Would eventually like to get $200 for every $100 spent.

    Glad to have you!!

    Follow this journey!
    Will learn much from here..
So the keywords you bid including all (broad, exact, phrase)?

So you created landing page on getresponse? Do you direct them to sales page after optin?

Crazy high! Obviously that will go down quite a bit as things level out and more data is collected but it's a great start for me and has me feeling good about this campaign!

That's correct, I am bidding on all keywords. Anyone who clicks my ad goes to a landing page I created in getresponse. Once they put in the name and email it redirects them to the clickbank offer. All emails collected get followed up with 5 times in the next two weeks with my autoresponder and swipes provided by the vendor.

Thanks boss! Let's shoot for another sale today!

    Day 3 Results:

    Clicks: 47
    Impressions: 8,137
    Spent: $3.48
    Opt ins: 8
    Sales: Not today!

Notes: Bummed I didn't get a conversion, but that just means I'm due for tomorrow. I made a few changes on my PPC campaigns; one of which is that I am now targeting US, UK, and Canada. Also changed my spending settings to spend as fast as possible rather than over the course of the day (in an attempt to get more clicks and maximize my budget). With that being said, my autoresponder sends out a mail today so maybe I'll catch another sale that way.

Also guys, I am working on campaign number two. Going to be posting stats for that tomorrow when the clicks start rolling in. It's much higher competition so we'll see if I can get some affordable clicks. Everything is the same as far as the funnel, but it's obviously a different landing page and different lead magnet. Hopefully I get some sort of traction going with these!

If anyone has advice or wants to discuss things, let's keep them in this thread rather than PMs! We can all help each other here.

It's the old classic right? Comes down to very simple numbers... Spend $10, make $20 ----> scale up -----> repeat. Simple, but not easy in the slightest. Some of it is luck, but most of it is just figuring out the numbers and making them work for you campaign.

Cool journey, recently started something similar myself. Fingers crossed more sales are on the way!
