    I'm currently making about $100 a day right now on promoting a simple email offer, however, I just realized that it isn't an incentive offer. So I'm promoting this from facebook, and people are clicking my link through a fan page, but that link is a php redirect from a domain name I own. I was wondering if my AM could see where the traffic is coming from, or would it just tell him that it is coming from facebook?

    And if he asks me where my traffic is coming from, couldn't I just tell him that I'm doing a PPC campaign in Facebook?

    If it isn't enough hoow should I cover this so it looks as if I'm not enticing the people to sign up?

    And I was searching around is double meta refresh (DMR) the same as blanking the referer? or are these 2 totally different things?

    So for the double edits.

    Do a search on here for cpa redirector which allows you to easily blank/fake referrer.

    Yeah, I searched this, but some threads mention that blanking the referrer is better than using a DMR?

    Sorry didn't see your post I just edited mine :x

    Alright, so I tried this CPA Redirector
    Code:
    [URL]http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/168033-cpa-redirector-2-a.html[/URL]
    and it worked in Google Chrome, but not in Firefox. So I then looked up how to blank a referrer in google and tried this:
    Code:
    [URL]http://www.tareeinternet.com/forum/free-scripts/2024-blank-referrer-double-meta-refresh.html[/URL]
    Do you guys think that this second one will work?

    The Second one will work just find to blank the referr. and the ones it cannot it will send to where you wish... so you will loose a lil traffic on the users who use chrome and opera but it says it work fine for IE Anf firefox which basically is most people.......

    just do a redirect loop with 2 pages on your site and add something like

    Code:
    if($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] == null)  {
            echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=yoursite.php\">";
    } else {
            echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=refresh.php\">";
    }

    You can do a redirect but incentive traffic is lower quality and for email submits, especially so. Milk it while you can but the offer will probably get pulled due to low conversions for the advertiser. I did this sort of thing for a while and eventually all the offers got pulled for me and I even had one network close my account due to the traffic quality.

    It's stupid really since if the advertisers and networks actually did their job, they could simply not pay out for traffic that didn't meet their standards.

    Anyhow, good luck with the cloaking.

    Isn't that what the second link that I posted does? It has:
    Code:
    <?php
    echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=http://www.urkn.com/fb/droid/application2.php\">";
    ?>
    which calls the second php file:

    Code:
    <?php
    $referer = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
    if($referer == "")
        {
    echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=http://myaffiliatelink.com\">";
        }
    else
        {
    echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=http://myaffiliatelink.com\">";
        }
    ?>

    So is this blanking the referrer or does this act like its getting clicked from a ppc campaign which is direct linking?
    i.e., it looks like someone is just clicking your affiliate link
