Lets say I had a brilliant idea that could trigger a lot of consistent, viral traffic. But I couldn't talk about the idea cause it would require quick market penetration, and 6-12 months after it's done there would be tons of copycats.

I need to know how much the traffic would actually be worth.

So let's say I created 20-50 extremely viral videos. Videos that would be guaranteed to get shared everywhere.

Half of those views (50 mil) would be 15 second ads.
The other half would be 30 second ads.

Approx how much revenue could this generate ???

If I talk about the specific plan in depth.... smart members are gonna call me stupid then try to steal it for themselves. If I don't talk about the specific plan, people are gonna naysay me to death saying you can't make videos intentionally go viral. But's lets just say it's a "sleezy twist of a sleezy twist".

And I can talk about something that's partially related to what I'd be doing.

People love watching other people suffer. They love watching crazy shit. The crazier the better. Prank videos would be a prime example of this.

If I made a video titled, "Tricked Pregnant GF into Thinking She Had a Miscarriage". Then shared that video on all the proper channels.... it would go viral.

Not because of the title.... but the content.

Or it could be a stupid twist on an old prank. Like, "GIRLFRIEND REVENGE: Pepper Spray in Douche Bottle Prank!" Then you put pepper spray in your GFs douche and video tape her reaction.

However, what a lot of people don't seem to talk about, acknowledge, or even realize .... is how many prank videos are staged from beginning to end. That all parties involved are acting. That segments of the prank are redone just like in movies. If you don't shout loud enough, if it doesn't look real enough, you just do another take.

The sad part is the video doesn't even have to look real. The more unique the idea, the worse the acting can be.

The important part is to simply keep everything in-house within a tight pact of people you know and trust. This is why you see so many GF/BF pranks. Cause neither one will speak that the pranks are fake if both are invested and making money from it.

To be clear, this is not what I'm doing. I'm just outlining a concept. What I'll actually be doing is a twist of this twist. But I'm twisting it in a much smarter direction.

Best bet would be to find some earning screenshots of people who make money with YouTube Ads.
Then come up with a range of earnings based on the length of most ads you see.

I don't know the answer for sure. But there was a thread here in this section asking people how much they make with YouTube
and some users said they made money with YouTube Ads and they said how many views they were getting as well.

I don't know you. And you don't know me. So with all due disrespect, keep the fuck out of my thread.

I really can't comprehend how dumb a person must be to see a stranger they don't know then go on pretending like their psychic or have the slightest clue how much that person makes.

I've made over $300k in the last 3 1/2 years with local marketing, 20% of that income coming directly from YT.
And I've made over $100K over the last 2 years from YT+CB. 100% of that coming from YT.

So please, do the world a favor and stay out of my threads.

Thank you. I'm not sure if you were serious or joking but nobodys making $300,000,000 from a measily 100,000,000 views.

I took acidol2's advice. Which I had already been doing with Google images but I had to dig much deeper. Apparently there are organizations that do nothing but research this shit. And the whole reason I asked this question is because I've always been against youtube sponsorship. I think it's a terrible way to make money even if you have a great idea and the ability to produce viral content.

Jenna Marbles, rated 7th most popular channel on YT, has recieved over 1,600,000,000 or 1.6 bil views to her youtube account. With 15 million subs.

However, estimates say that she only made $346,000 in 2013. If true, this girl only makes 3xs what I do.

Which is fucking pathetic. I'd be looking at like $22,000 year. Which is what I made with just 1 targeted CB video on YT.

Other estimates said you make on avg $1 per 1000 views

    So 10,000,000 views = $10,000.

    100,000,000 views = $100,000.

Which again, is laughable. You can make that much money every year just building 1 local funnel and ranking it.

This proves to me without a doubt that going viral is for peasants.

The ad views worth depends on alot of factors
    - demographics of your audience,
    - length of the video
    - Date and time.

For my niche (5-6 mins) and my unique method with only Overlay in-video ads is active this is my stats
    [IMG]

While My friend has (1hr-2hrs long video) with Skip ads is active 10 times on the video has the same stats as me but slightly higher.

You can't really tell how much will it worth. All you have to do to know how much would it worth is to test 1 video and do the math.

    Sorry for my english..

I'll tell ya right now. The industry for toddlers is extremely high. In fact, the highest paid Youtuber has none of those connections. No affiliates, no Youtube partnership; Nothing. She only has 6 million subscribers and made over 5 million last year.

Doing what? Unboxing videos. Not unboxing videos per se, video games or new tech, but little kid's toys. I've seen my baby sister. She can be on her IPAD all day long watching people open up and play with toys or open kinder surprise eggs. These kids go back to those videos all day long, see advertisements (in fact, she knows how to skip them. 3 year olds nowadays eh?) and watch the vids. If you truly want to make some great money, go for this; But if you know your niche as well and have the passion to follow through, you didn't even need to come to the forum to ask the question.

You should have tested your theory and possibly came back here after you're done, but I see that you don't even have hope in your own project so you come to the forum to try and validate your idea. Seeing as how it backfires, it should give you the drive to follow through to the action! Go on and try to prove me and everyone wrong!

Yep i notice this niche too coz my 1 2/2 daughter is always watching this at her ipad, but for me a lot of guys are doing this now too much competition. You better find a niche that is unique to bank more on your own.
