10 items to sell - use 1 listing or 10 listings?

Suppose I have 10 items to sell - what will give me maximum views/watches/bids/saleprice:

1.) ONE multiple-item fixed price listing (with available quantity set at 10)
2.) TEN separate single-item fixed price listing

I'm thinking that listings on ebay are like pages on a website - the more of them you have, the better your chance for ranking in organic search (in this case, in ebay search results)

I'd ask on ebay forums, but everyone there is so fucking lame (goody-goodies). Plus, I can't blame them for giving away their good strategies, even if we don't sell competing products.

I did it both ways and found that the second way was the best, but just make sure you do some keyword research for your title.

    Hi Dirtyc,

If you have say 10 items that are the same and you list them as identical items 10 times on ebay you may get the listings removed as this could be seen as trying to dominate the listings, something they are hot on now!

You are right to think of the listings as pages and believe me google just love ebay listings.

I suggest that you list the items 10 times but change the listing header slightly for each one ie,
Brand new Ipod still in its box,
Still in the box Ipod brand new etc.

Link each listing to your about me page

Put up a good About me Page with a link to your site 'hey presto"

Works for my mate in the UK!

    As you were!

If they're hot on it - then I probably won't try it. I don't really care to go through the hassle of getting a new ebay account right now.

    Thanks for the replies.
