10 Day Old Site, 800 Backlinks, 13 Pages, Still Not Ranking?
How normal is something like this?
10 days isn't really long enough to get traction unless it's a really long tail phrase. If they're shitty profile links or links on old blog posts, a lot of those 800 won't even have got spidered yet. If it's a competitive phrase you'll probably need more than 800 links. Patience my son.
Ok Thanks, I'm just impatient I guess. Its for many different phrases within the domain name. I'm really excited at the potential traffic thats all.
I already have 20 posts on it.
Don't know about the quality of the 800 links. If it is only low quality (automated) links, you might as well get a few better links. This could help you get some traction and trust, which could be useful for a completely new domain.
I would have had sex with IM if seo can return results in few days for serious keywords.
That's easy to say, you'd have sexy with anything that walks.
Losing the ability to walk doesn't hold you from having sex
Seriously op, give it some time. You may hurt yourself rushing things like this with a 10 days old domain. Make the content age in google index like champaign
To get started in ranking sites I bought a site in January. This new site way built and everything with alot of content with proper keyword research as a super quick project.
Is it normal for my site not even ranking in top 1000 ?
Sounds like you're sandboxed. Did you just directly blast your new site with blog comments or something without it having any links yet or something along those lines?
Did you start the backlink process before building the site. I don't think you can make 800 backlinks in 10 days the natural way, unless some press releases. Possibility of a sandbox are greater or otherwise your backlinks are on low quality sites and therefore didn't get crawled by the search engines yet. Solution for both sandbox and crawling is to place your backlinks on high pagerank sites.
NO PROBLEM AT ALL. Simply wait. It is good that you do not show up at all. I did this a week ago and I got on page 1 from nowhere on one of the keywords. Now, I am waiting for the others to show up in SERPS too.
it can sometimes take few weeks for a new site to rank
Well its not exactly true... You can build 800 Links with Scrapebox in the blink of an eye or with Senuke for 3-4 days
i build my site myself and as newbie started seeing results very poor but still now i'll try some of the trick that i sow here will let You know did something work
check you website in google cache, if it hasn't been cached you can't rank. google only caches sites like once every 10 to 14 days.
do a site:www.yoursite.com
then click the cache link under your indexed webpage
if your webpage dosn't come up then you just need to wait until google caches it.
I meant the natural way, without using any blackhat method. I use Senuke for my sites.
Are you even showing up in a site:domain.com search?
It will take a while to rank for any worthwhile keywords.
I wouldn't put so much focus on the offsite SEO, get the onsite sorted whilst your waiting to be indexed.
A brand new site with 800 backlinks in only 10 days, i'm sure that looks really natural to google......
You are right. In fact if you can't walk it makes it that much easier for me to have sex with you!
