    Thank you! Quite useful!

A lot of people have no idea how body language influences everyday life and talking with other people. As well how small body language things can discover someones intentions without them even knowing it.

These steps focus on the technical gimmicks. In my experience, the key to effective (i.e. having random people you 've never met congratulate you and tell you how engaged they were) public speaking is two fold:

    a) Present a story. A story has a beginning, a progression and an end. You have to guide your audience like a tour guide and the more smoothly you do this, the better.
    b) You are not talking. A fictional character is - a role that you play - and this character should be "stronger than life" in their expressions/verbiage. You don't see normal characters doing normal stuff in the movies, do you? On the stage, you are an actor, so you must act accordingly.

If you 're a cocky b*stard, you already know what I 'm talking about - if not, practice and it will make perfect sense :)
