I am after one epic back link.

I did a post about a week ago for back links but all the links were what I would consider sites just made for inking or sites that have been over run with links.

I will pay up to $2000 USD for this link, hopefully not that much :) But It needs to be home page of a quality site. A link not many sites have.

I am trying to make a very high quailty study site.

I'm just after one link that will help my site for years to come not 100s of links.

Cheers Justin

Youre better off getting 5-6 relevant links from authority sites like Engadget, huffpo.

$10 says you'll get someone from a 3rd-world country that sells you a bag of Alpha-1-Romeo.

For $2k you can buy high authority domain in your niche on namejet and snapnames. Thats better than paying for a link.
That could be a great idea for a new site. I will look into it. Any tips?

How good are them links? would you be 100% sure it will help search rankings for ever? like 100% white hat?

Alpha-1-Romeo
Do I even wana ask :P

Lets say you spent $2k on few backlinks. You cant be sure if this backlinks will be there after few months or 1 year. Seller can tell you its lifetime deal, and remove your backlink after some time. You have to consider this.

You have controll on what you own. If you buy HQ domain, you can be nearly sure you wont put $$ in toilet.

P.S. When it comes to tips - pay someone to help you if you want to buy HQ domain, or buy domain here on marketplace. If you have no experience in this field you can pay a ton for domain worth 50 bucks.

$2k on a single link is a complete waste of money.

Spend the same amount on niche related guest posts, thank me later :)

i do have a fair amount of xp, the problem I have is figuring out if the domain was punished then dropped. Or is in googles sandbox because it has had no content on for the last 6 months before it was dropped. In a perfect world I get a domain someone dropped for a study blog. Match up all the old content, add new high quality content, run ads and put my feet up on a sandy beach for life....

How good are these links?? anyone got stats. Will google someday punish links like that? I feel like sites like Engadget might even get dumpstered from linking out to poor sites.

That's like saying there is no point doing anything because google is going to screw us in the end. There is nothing called 100% white hat seo. A few bad links here and there is not going to harm your site. Sites like Engadget links out 1000s of sites. It would not make any sense in devaluing all the sites it is linked to if it is penalized.

You can get 100% white hat. There are some links that are going to help no matter what updates happen. Yes few bad links is fine. As the owner of the site does not have control over who links in(can disavowal to some extent) , but linking out is a different story. From memory Google once punished Facebook down to pr 9 for bad links out and Facebook retaliated with making a site wide No-follow. I think Facebook is a mix these days but it can happen to any site no matter how big. One solution - Make a quality site with a valid reason for being there. Link out to only related quality sites. Link in from only quality related sites, have good tags and descriptions...... seo done...

You are going around sites asking for links. How is that whitehat?

Because the link will be helpful. Nothing wrong is asking a quality site to link to your quality site. They can review your site and figure out if its worth linking to. Only other way is they find your site own there own and link to it. I link out to good relevant sites and quality sites that ask only.

Buying links is against googles rules and is not whitehat

That is completely unnatural, blackhat and violates google's policy.
