O.K. Im not an SEO expert or anywhere close, but I do know a few things (most of which I have learned here) But anyways here's what I did. I was sittin around thinking a while back about every term I have ever googled. I came up with a few good terms that would get atleast 10 daily local searches. Then I went to godaddy.com and utilized the domain search tool. Example: search term "computer stores in dallas texas" so I searched for computerstoresindallastexas and came up with a hit. Then I googled the 100 most populated cities in the us and came up with a list. So, i searched the term for all of them, and was able to get a hit on almost all of them (93 to be exact) So I bought as many as I could that day, then I bought the rest the next week. I also bought a main domain example: computerstores.com. Then I built a small 10 page site (just informational for now) and forwarded (and masked) all of the domains to that one. I used the domain also for keyword tags along with other keywords. Then I set up my analytics and submitted my site to the search engines and let it go. I checked everything last night, and I noticed that I am on the first page on google for most of the cities and I am getting over 300 daily unique visitors from google. I'm gonna monetize the site pretty soon, but I already make alot with adsense so I'm trying to figure out which route I want to go. Maybe amazon? I don't know, still thinking about it. Anyways, I just wanted to share that with you all :D

Congrats for taking action and sharing a method :)

Or just turn all those individual "computerstorein[city]" into listing websites, put computer stories in that particular city on there for free, send them an email saying how much traffic the site/their listing is getting, say you are going to charge soon and all in all you bank big time.

Agreed! Maybe I'll start to doubt the OP a little less. Best of luck.

I don't have adsense on that website. I'm gonna monetize it with something else. Maybe amazon, or clickbank products, don't know yet.

How long does it take for those small sites to rank to the top from the day you've bought the domain?
Building like 93 websites means you have to do link buildings for them. I assume it takes you quite a long time doing 93 websites backlinks. Say 1 site have 50 backlinks which requires to go to the first page, you have to do 93x50 ones! Is it possible? Sounds like it doesn't take you much time to achieve that.

It's very nice of you to openly share your strategy here though.

I didn't build 93 websites, I just built one main site and forwarded/masked all of the domains to that site. Didn't really take long to do, I just typed in the keyword tags and title lines for the first domain, then copy and pasted after that to the rest. As far as moving to the top, it was within a week, maybe a week and a half tops, not really sure because I didnt expect it to work that quick. I just submitted it to search engines and pinged, and just forgot about it for a week or so, then checked on it and was surprised as hell. Its exciting for me, because I don't know that much about SEO, and I managed to pull it off.

I am happy to know about your success. Just be aware that using tactics like this will give you fast rankings, but at the same time they may drop really fast. The last thing you want is to have all your bought domains being de-indexed by G. I am new to this so I am not sure if G approves this way or not. Though it doesn't sound like cheating.

Especially if you want to cash it from Adsense, they will be stricter. So maybe you would like to stick to other ways like affiliates rather than Adsense?

Yea, I'm definately not gonna put adsense on that one. I'm really leaning towards amazon. I don't know why, but something keeps telling me to use them. :D
