I just noticed this a few days ago on fiverr, but when i'm online, i'm getting more orders/messages comparing to when i'm not, maybe some or most of you already noticed this (way back), but i don't really purchase anything there, so i don't use the search either, where apparently there's an option to filter for online sellers. Or when somebody looks at your profile, there's this little green dot beside your fiverr username, which shows that you're online. It's available on desktop too not too long ago, before it was only available for those only who used the mobile app.
There are two ways to appear online non-stop: you either keep yourself logged into your fiverr account in your browser and keep the tab open (in the background, in FF you can pin the tab, so it's hardly even noticeable) or you can download the fiverr app on your mobile device and let your online status being shown (it's enabled by default), so you can appear to be online 24/7 for 365 days a year, if you keep the fiverr app running.

Another advantage of the mobile app comparing to desktop, that you get instant notifications of your orders/messages, so you can deliver your orders really quick - especially if you have push button gigs - and/or improve your response time. I'm using instant notifications since the very beginning on desktop, after delivering thousands of orders i still manage to keep my avg response time under 1 hr, when i obviously don't deliver orders/answer messages when i'm asleep or AFK :), your response time also appears on your profile and also can be a deal breaker. The good news that you can mimic the mobile app's instant notification behaviour on desktop too with ease, if you use outlook, thunderbird or this browser addon to get instant notifications of your emails. I use the latter, it's a pretty neat little addon which can help in any time-sensitive task, not just fiverr. Just import your email acc(s) into the tool, set the "check interval" to 1 minute and you're good to go.

Nothing Earth-shattering, 2 little tips, but i hope these will help at least some of you! ;)
