So, as of right now I have something like 13,000 direct back links. When you type "site: mysite.com" into google I see 1.1 million results, in all of the results i see mydomain.com.

Google has yet to crawl my site, its been live for approx 3 weeks and i submitted xml sitemap.

I figure with this many backlinks I'd start to see some traffic but haven't noticed much of a difference.

Any ideas on when things will kick in or what I should do from here?

FYI site is a music search site where users can listen/download mp3s.

Yeah with 13k backlinks in a few weeks, I doubt that your going to have much success with it. At least not for a while. Should have started sloooower.

If you're typing "site: myname.com" directly into Google, you're going to simply be entering a query of "site" and "myname.com" into Google. Make sure you do not have a space in-between the ":" and "myname.com".

Also, while it doesn't matter how many backlinks you receive in what time period (at least in my beliefs), if you got 13k backlinks form spamming comments to a brand new website, you're probably going to be sandboxed or ignored by Google for at least a little bit.

from my experience google ignore the back-links for a while but after 1-2 months it accepts them
probably by the heuristic that if the links still exists thy must be valid

so extremely high spamming has the same results with the regular one
