Hey Guys, I just wanted to provide a little inspiration to the media buying section of the forum. This is why Re-targeting is so powerful. Below you can see a screen shot of a campaign we are currently running. In this campaign you can see the major difference between the campaign with Re-targeting and when there was no retargeting. In this campaign we used a different type of re-targeting, it is re-targeting based on impressions, so the first 500,000 impressions we gathered data for about the user and the site they were on. Then we take that data and expand it into "look-a-like" audiences where the user profile closely resembles that of the initial data. The results are extraordinary, bringing the client a TON more traffic for their spending. Unfortunately the utilization of this type of data comes at a cost... meaning you have to have a big budget, however, this works on small scales as well. The site we are advertisng on is a mix of business sites like businessinsider, wallstreetjournal, etc... which is why we are paying a $3.50 CPM. I suggest even if you are thinking of media buying, you should always always always set some retargeting pixels on your site to gain data.
