When writing the blog posts is it bad form to use the description provided on the Amazon product page?

I really appreciate this thread. I have been doing things online for years and have failed miserably at monetizing everything. I literally already possess the knowledge and skills (I'm a writer) that this method requires. I excel in my career, but I have not been able to figure this on-line...
