I like universal affiliate program like viglink or skimlinks. with them, You don't have to apply each merchant program . easy for me even they charge 25% of your commission. Maybe it's just my case. Amazon is good too.

Home page has 60 lava hot deals listed. so it will be 60 affiliate links. and there are some in the side bar, so totally more then 60

Did you try some easy bot that IFTTT? With IFTTT and a social media account, you can create a bot to convert all deal links in out site to your affiliated links. Just google IFTTT LavaHotDeals.

yes, it will work as long as you have such traffic. with 1 million unique traffic, any website will make a decent money

You can at least put adsense, or some other money making widget in your page. e.g. embedding a money making RSS as widget to your page

if you want to make money , you have to spend first. buy ads, buy follower, buy ranking, buy buy buy
