If it helps i've been blocked from following TWICE in the last 2 weeks and i wasn't following more than 300 profiles a day, also following until i reached the hour limit, could be that they are adding new daily limits but i doubt it.

The same exact thing just happened to me and this is the second time, i didnt follow +200 profiles today yet i got banned from following until 1/17.. Very disappointing.

If you are using crowdfire you can do this, go on your following panel and scroll all the way down, that way you wont get the people you recently followed, and start unfollowing from the bottom to the top.

If you can't follow and an alert pops up then you are temp blocked from following, but if you are following and suddenly can't follow anymore without an alert showing up is probably because you reached the hour limit. hope that helped.

I started manual following with my current account since 02-11-15 and i have 17.5K followers atm, it will depend on how many people you follow a day and if you post using hashtags, also commenting and liking other people's posts will increase your followers.
