Hmm.. that's VERY strange that no one else was impacted. Do you guys have any foreign sites or only in the USA? Again, only my foreign sites were affected.

This was a pretty significant change. I've been in the SEO game a long time, and I [usually] know when an algorithm has been updated. Being there was no manual action on these sites and they all dropped at once, I can only assume there was an update (at least in foreign SERPs)

Pretty sure it's Penguin... Not sure what else could've dropped all these sites at once, without any manual action. But again, none of my sites in the USA were affected yet.

Hey check your sites, especially foreign sites. I just had a batch of sites all tank. I put them into GWT.. no manual action. Looks like testing / rolled out Penguin right before Christmas?
