I don't understand what 'data' you need, Instagram works there are many examples, so just work on your strategy and execute.

What analytics tool are you using to view UV? There are many example of successful brands built solely on Instagram but few will state their income for obvious reasons. I know two watch brands which do incredibly well, and one coffee scrub that does $20m in sales.

Nice tutorial for people new to Instagram, I would add that if you are a niche page create a conversation with opinion based captions such as: Clothing = "Yes or No?" / "Thoughts?" / "Tag someone who needs this!" Cars = "Not sure about the colour, thoughts?" / "Would you buy this or the ___?"...

Not accurate, a lot of successful businesses on Instagram use other peoples content for anywhere from 20-70% of uploads.

Agreed, people that actually focus on building businesses do well on Instagram, It's not a platform that works if you're a spammy marketer though.
