I'm no expert but that doesn't look like the results of schema tags. It just looks like good ol regular ranking of popular pages.

I've never used Blogger but I can't imagine it's better or easier to use than WordPress. I would just move my site to WordPress which automatically offers Meta tags/descriptions options.

It's likely due to the copied content. IMO, it's easier to take a brand new site to the top than to bring a bad ranking/flagged site to the top. I would advice you start over with new content, learning from your mistakes.

I think you will lose your account if any of those celebrities decided to claim ownership or open up their own twitter accounts.

To my understanding, getting indexed is not an issue. My blog got indexed on Google and Bing within 48 hours of starting and I had only a few posts written. I have however read that to get a decent ranking, you should have at least 50 pages/posts of content, and of course good backlinks.
