Aside from monthly seo/back linking is there any additional maintenance to stay profitable? Write more articles etc....? Anyone with experience in these sites that can advise.

Don't see why not. I pay you for your time plus would split any site profits 50/50 so your getting residual plus instant money for time spent. Guess I'll just have to take the plan of action to elance or what not and hire steps out as parts :)
