As far as i'm concerned, it's for engagement -> boost post. But from like farming view points, does this serve any purpose? (for example, scanning people's UID from your post and run it on Power Editor for like campaign) Thought?

Publish controversial campaign, something that edge them on, force them to drop a comment at your post. Facebook newsfeed ranking is easy, high engagement = more exposure, and the most important engagement is a comment from user.

I've been there, one of the "best" provider are Forbes, but if you want to buy their advanced tick data (Which I believe is 15 minutes earlier than the rest of other free provider), prepare to cough up 200k per year license.

Facebook is fucking expensive, only company level has enough resources to boost game install with Facebook. My companies work with hot girl/guy who has a lot of active follower on Facebook. their usual rate is $50 per s/o, but we have to design the ads in the way not making them a sellout :D
