OK i've figured how to make it useful. add up to 200 friends. then convert to fan page. then you can change the name and merge with existing page.

Haha - yeah there really are some sick fucks on facebook. So how do you make this useful? Having a girl wth 100,000 likes won't convert to sales / genuine activity.

There's a few pages that i've seen where people will clone a fan page, then comment on the real fan page saying 'We've moved - click here for our new link'. I wondered how do they do this? Because if I try to create a fan page with a duplicate name, it will say 'sorry this name is already...

Sounds good - can you merge any page together then - don't they have to be similar? What's the criteria? E.g. can I create a funny pictures page, then a page that is also funny photos but a different name?
