I use a few web 2.0's and comment links on authority sites just to vary out my anchors (e.g to build brand and generic anchors). Then I hit the site during month 2 with PBN links with keyword-related anchors. I don't build any links to my PBNs since I've invested a ton of money into it.

You need to optimize your page first... just include your keyword somewhere in the title. You then need to send good PR links with keyword-related anchors to your site. Amazon pages are pretty easy to rank.
