Can i register cheap domain for first year and transfer it to different registrar?
One nice thing about Namecheap (and I assume other registrars will do this as well) is that the remaining term you have with your former registrar gets added at no additional cost. For example, if you have 3 months remaining, then transfer your domain, you will get 15 months at the cost of one...- dantien
