I am having the same weird results as OP, a few of my keywords on moz show sometimes 20 or 15. Then when i input them into google myself they show up as rank 2-10 on first page. I have also made sure i'm not signed into google when search and i have searched from multiple different ip locations...

Build a few back links decent quality back links and if they are really decent then it should put you somewhere in the top 500. If they are really good you will go even higher, just make sure they aren't spammy.
