It depends on what you're doing and what level of security you want. If you're wanting to create accounts you can try TORBrowser bundle. However, I wouldn't use it for logging into any important services.
Try and get in contact with someone at oDesk via phone rather than one of the support monkeys via support ticket. Always go for phone support for anything remotely important - with support tickets you rarely get anyone with any power to do anything.
I'd recommend forking out for the full version of Gscraper rather than dealing with all the bugs and 'particularities' of the demo version - you won't regret it!
