I'm clinging onto this with hope. The SERPs are looking very very spammy at the moment in my niche, much worse than they were before the update... I'm feeling another "refresh" is coming on very soon, or at least I'm hoping so anyway (and hoping it brings my site back up with it!)

Okay, question time... My site got hit badly so I'm kinda clinging onto hope here (as I'm sure many others are), but has ANYBODY's site bounced back up after drastically taking a hit? I've noticed spammy sites appearing within the SERPs and I'm praying with every bone in my body that they roll...

I have been totally rebuilding my website on a development server, anyway my site got hit badly today but I'm going to continue with the new development and should be launching it soon... I'll let you guys know if it has any effect.

It doesn't matter that your backlinks don't point to the SSL, 301'ing it will soon sort that out & you'll get the added benefit of the SSL boost.

I have a really big money site that was holding great SERPs. It had quality, regularly updated content & great user engagement however it's been absolutely bombed from page 1 for every term to minimum page 4, right up to past page 10 for some. I feel like crying.... ...HOWEVER..... The SERPs...

It was quoted from a Facebook spokesperson in the article that I was reading. Apparently there was a documentary launched in 2012 as to how fake likes were destroying peoples advertising campaigns.

I'm still waiting on a few links & haven't heard from sadekjake in a while... I'm fearing he might have been kidnapped by Matt Cutts.

Guys, let me clear this one up for you. Facebook are mainly focusing on people who are using fake likes against people's FB advertising campaigns. Fake likes on pages, pictures or whatever else are not such a high priority for them at the moment.
