I would recommend you do FBA. You will have the Buy Box without issue plus you will have many more sales with FBA.

It is a big deal especially for new sellers trying to get their product out there. I have successful products that made it on page 1 with couple keywords I used. If you want add me to Skype maybe we can share some ideas.

I also forgot to mention. You can get BUY BOX right away if you send your items to FBA and they are fulfilled by FBA. Which all of my items are that's why I have the buy box. If you are shipping the items yourself then you have to be a featured merchant.
