I use writing as a side job but its not my main job. If you are in the freelance field, you have to be ready to compete with countries whose cost of living is way below the cost where you live, so they can write for dirt cheap prices and get work. I'd say avoid those and keep your quality...

I know its old now, but I just get freelancers to do my articles, and on Fiverr, you can get some decent ones cheap. Its much better than having to spin it, then read it and correct all the bad wording.
