We are in a similar situation. I'm trying to go full time by the end of the year and I'm shooting for $10k/mon by January from my offline biz. Good luck!
A bunch of links to a site shouldn't be enough to trigger the spam filters. Think about how many comments and links about stories on CNN.com and other sites show up on FB. As long as the landing page isn't overtly pushing the offer, you should be able to fly under the radar.
Again by phone
You don't need a single domain per offer. That is why BTB created a news site(s). That let's you create a news story for each offer rather than a new site. Alternatively, you could make a different site for each vertical. Like one for fashion, one for phones, etc. That way...
I'm replying by phone so forgive any errors. If I saw that post, I would have ignored it because it is very close to seeming spammy.
Instead I would have looked at the demographics of the groups and made the comment more sensational and outlandish. Something like "Why [enter some common...
Ok, now is the time for diagnosis rather than despair. You say that 15k should have seen your comment but only 30 viewed your site. Keep in mind that all 15k won't be on Facebook at the same time but just for the sake of argument, let's say they were. 30/15,000 = 0.2% CTR. Considering that...
BTB, thanks for putting this out there for us to use. Now that you've automated the process, do you have any recommendations on how we can do the same?
Thanks for posting this journey - it's hugely inspirational! Ignore the trolls because the rest of us really appreciate your details on how you were able to accomplish your success.
This is probably a silly question but with these packages am I getting new links each month in addition to maintaining the ones from the previous month?
Great job on jumping into PPC! I used to do a lot of PPC back in the day but stopped so I'm not sure how relevant everything I'm about to post still is today.
It seems like you may have too many keywords in your adgroups. I would go with 1 keyword per adgroup for a total of 600 adgroups so...
Finally! After a lot of trial and error (and money), I've finally found at least one target site that is starting to give me traffic at a reasonable price. After failing to get things going a few times, I finally decided to pick 4 sites that SiteScout said had a lot of traffic and decent...
Thanks, man. How are you doing your tracking? I had Prosper202 set up but it's not giving me any of the information that it should. Do you have another recommendation?
Alright, everything is in place now. I have a ton of banners (maybe even too many). I have a ton of targets (maybe even too many). I have four optin pages to split test and 5 autoresponder messages ready to go. Just have to turn on the campaign...:)
I think it really depends on your experience level and the market you are in. I can't say that one is better than the other as I'm very new to media buying and I've made more with solo ads than I have with my banner ads so far. I will say that if you are outside of the big niches, make money...
