I agree with that, but announcing funding rates today and the central banks meeting tomorrow can bring unexpected short lived volatility (a.k.a. scam wicks) and fuck up my scalps, so I prefer to stay away for few days until the news are fully absorbed in the charts.

It let's you open long and short positions at the same time. It's cool, because you can take short at the top and open some quick long scalps at the retraces back up and use that liquidity to add to your short when you close your scalp.
