SeoMoz would tell you that over time. If you are just selling a service based on the number of links you get for a customer I have to say you don't understand SEO yet. I am not saying you are doing this, but helping you not proceed down a long hard road.

It is difficult to draw definitive conclusions. I would be more a proponent of her just being a paid poster. In any group, there will be self interest. It's here. It's there. It's everywhere, but it is up to people to wake up and see it, and find a way to benefit from the amazing dynamic.

I think Google can tell if there is an editorial process at a website, versus a situation where links are easily added by others. I think Auto Submitters are a really bad idea and the #1 reason for the Unnatural Linking Penalty and Notices people are receiving.

I would take issue with nearly any auto submission software. If there is no editorial process by the person who owns the site, there is little value in the links.
