Because most of the content is duplicated, you should rewrite as much as possible and create an image or 2 in photoshop to accompany each article (do not use someone else's image - google sees that as duplicate as well)

i think many from the same IP *may be acceptable as long as you have the bulk of back links from other IP's. For example, you have 95% coming in from varying IPs and 5% from 1 IP - not great, but may be enough to be seen as ok. Best to not get too many on the same in my opinion

Guest posting would be considered grey-hat now, I believe. A truly natural link is one that is freely given to you without your involvement/influence. Of course there is the argument that G cannot tell which is which....yet

Keep in mind, Google can easily detect if the image is duplicate content and it may hamper your seo efforts.
