I hate how it doesn't have the navigation on the side under the profile picture anymore.

I've never actually used any of those but I've heard they're pretty much the same as Paypal... just, as you said, not as widely used. Paypal is almost a monopoly these days. Someday someone will come in and take them and all their fees out!
