What you're asking would require hours to explain in detail. Start reading the "making money" section, learn what are the different monetizing methods (ads, affiliate programs, CPA, etc), see what can be the most appropriate way of monetizing according to the subjects you would be blogging...

Yup, my first site, I'm just starting to build some links to it, but it naturally started ranking 1st and 2nd page for a bunch of terms after a couple of months, and the rankings are more or less stable. Some kws get only a couple hundred searches, a few between 500-1000, so no huge traffic, but...
