    I’ve seen this happen too. More content doesn’t always mean better rankings. I usually compare what the competitor is doing better—search intent, on-page optimization, backlinks, and overall usefulness. Sometimes improving existing pages works much better than publishing more content.

    I think another difficult part is knowing when to stop making changes. SEO can tempt you to keep tweaking content, links, or technical elements every time rankings move. Sometimes, the smarter approach is to give each change enough time to show a meaningful signal before making another adjustment.
